Audrey and Rui Wang, the inventor/entrepreneur behind SquareWear, created a video of my book that is now on YouTube. It is so incredible to see the final product working and I cannot express how rewarding iDesign has been.
YAYAYAYAYA!!! I just presented and I got a video of it basically working, and it is DONE!

I bound the book with the coptic stitch, if you want to learn this method I used these steps. 
I prepared the front and back covers and got the book ready for binding.

So I set up the neopixels, and here they are!  Look at them all connected :)  To check that they were functioning I used the strandtest_brightness code Today in class I was trying to figure out where each neopixel is going to be which required drawing the actual pages...I don't want to rush and put the neopixels in the wrong places. I will probably mess up somehow though, oh well. 
I am just trying to get everything set up with the connections so far. 
I had to re-solder some connections today because I made a mistake in the design.
I made a place for the SquareWear.
The SquareWear is removable with the snaps.
I also started to work on the pictures for the storyline.
I actually made some progress on hardware stuff today. 
The photoresitor and the resistor.
I am using copper tape. I am sure it will betray me but for now we are friends.
So, I got some supplies for the making of the actual book. I apologize for accomplishing very little over the break...  So Audrey helped me to add rainbow cycling to my code!!!
